A Roof in Common

In Alentejo, the most aged area in Portugal and the region where the suicide rate is the highest among Europe, it was said that“ solitude kills”. In one of the empty village where death and loneliness seems to be looming over, the old “Alentejano” Inacio and Francisca resist the melancholy by accompanying each other. The film discovers this particular love poem of developing an intimate relationship in the last season of life on the desolated land.
