In Colombia, the armed conflict has been ongoing for 60 years. Between 2002 and 2010, thousands of young people from the slums were kidnapped, tortured and mur- dered by the national army, who exposed them in front of the media as dead guerrillas. They are referred to as “falsos positivos”. It is a huge scandal which shakes Colombian society.
