The only documentary film festival in Switzerland, Visions du Réel is internationally renowned and is one of the world's most important festivals for documentary production.
Since 1969, the Festival has been animating the streets of Nyon each spring for more than a week. On top of presenting the majority of its films as world and international premieres, Visions du Réel is also a stepping stone for young directors and a meeting place for professionals and amateurs of documentary cinema.
This week in April allows the Festival goers to discover and/or rediscover documentary films. In order to provide them with an unforgettable experience, we are currently looking for funds so we can improve our structures, ensure the longevity of the Festival and continue to provide excellent working conditions for filmmakers coming to Visions du Réel.
